The ALERT is the "lite version of the Call Waiting Family.
To accept a call when the Call Waiting Alert is detected, simply press the "Quick disconnect Button" on the front panel which disconnects the modem. The phone, along with all of the other phones on the same line, will ring.
When you are ready to use the modem again, simply press the button again.
The phone may be used normally anytime the modem is not being used, no matter what position the button is in.

The MANAGER has all of the features of the previous tow products, plus it also provides real time "Screen Pops" to identify the calling party. These are provided while the modem is on-line and it stores them while the computer is powered off.
The MANAGER is much more than just a call waiting product. It can be used to program your CID service to automatically abort selected calling numbers or assign different ring patters to different number or groups of numbers.
For privacy, you may want to allow only certain numbers to ring the "Phone Port" or restrict certain outbound numbers.
All of this is accomplished through the familiar Windows Explorer type drag and drop interface. The MANAGER is truly a state of the art telephone management system.
